The Cult is going to be in concert on March 11th at Warehouse Live (it's at St. Emanuel and Rusk). I've heard rumors about Ian's voice going downhill in the past few years. But then again, he has been the singer for the "reunited" Door band for awhile now, so I don't know. Any thoughts????

I saw this a couple of days ago. Has anyone here seen a show at Warehouse Live? If anyone has been to a show at that venue, please let us know what it is like. Thanks!

I saw The Cult 5 years ago or so at Verizone and there was nothing wrong with his voice or the band. Great show.

They were toruing to support _ Beyond Good and Evil_ (2001), which I highly recommend.

I saw them back when they were touring for Electric and Sonic Temple in the late 80's. No WAY would I ruin those memories of one hellua show to see Ian these days. I've read nothing but horror stories about his "talking" through songs and whatsuch nowadays.

Yeah, not sure I could go see this either... I have really good memories of the Billy Idol/Cult show from about 15 years ago...

No lie: I saw, in 1980-something, Guns & Roses open for the Cult.

Boy were you wrong about that. They tore it UP last night. Voice sounded great, as did the band (they had the drummer from White Zombie sitting in, who was particularly impressive).

Yeah I was there, 2nd row. It was 86 or 87 at the Coliseum. Rose kicked a guy in the head.
