His purse was $1.75 million, or so we thought! Here's the actual breakdown. Bob Arum is Morales's promotor. Murad Muhammad is Pacquiao's promotor. -> PPV sharing: Morales = 40% Arum = 20% Murad = 40% Pacquiao = none!!! -> Manny revealed murad got $2.8 million for PPV share!!! -> Sharing of his US $1.75 million purse: Taxes : $525000 Other members of the team :$ 612500 MANNY'S TAKE HOME PAY : $612500!!! So let me get this straight, his promotor got $2.8 million, but the fighter got $612500?!?!?! This is a travesty, no wonder so many boxers end up with nothing, their promotors screw them over so much.

manny needs to learn how to negotiate the contract better. if you agree to fight for those terms, then you fight for those terms. he probably could have got at least 20% if he refused his promoter that fight otherwise.
