a huge huge huge statement game for the cowboys coming up sunday night. with the cowboys putting up a lot of points the last two games they face a real defense tomorrow. if they win this game they could easily end up 5-0, or 6-0 or even better with the upcoming soft schedule. here is to the cowboys being the only undefeated texas nfl team after this week! (texans play the colts )
I like how Devin Hester was running his mouth all week for the Cowboys to kick to him and he flat out choked!
This game just got funny towards the end. I recall seeing a shot of some of the guys on the Bears defense standing around after a score, looking like they're thinking "can't we leave, already? What's the point of embarrassing ourselves for another 10 minutes?" The weird thing is that looking at the personnel, I thought it was the Dallas defense that was gonna make more noise. Nevermind. And by the way, when was the last time an offensive line crushed people like this one? In fact, taking into account height and weight, might this be the biggest offensive line since, uh... EVER?
Romo has just surpassed Tom Brady and is knocking on Peyton Manning's door. according to the Cowboys forums
Generation 1: Staubach, Dorsett and Pearson. Generation 2: Aikman, Emmitt and Irvin. Generation 3: Romo-mentum, Barber and T.O. The Road to 6x continues against the Rams.
This game was sweet. This was a game for all the haters throughout the week. Dallas hasnt faced a real team. Dallas will crumble against the Bears defense. Not only did the Cowboys beat the Bears convincingly, they outright slaughtered them. There is no argument: the Dallas Cowboys are the best team in the NFC. The penalties are the only thing I was concerned about. The offensive false starts etc. were bad news. I bet the NFL is thanking their gods of choice right now that the game wasnt a close one - I saw at least 3 or 4 phantom calls (jason witten block in the back, TO pass interference, you know the rest) that would have been a big **** deal if the game had gone the other way. Marion the Barbarian, Tony Homo, TO ... take us to the promise land
This was a statement game all right, by the Bears. They are sorry because they have the worst starting QB in the NFL. Unless Brian Griese is better than Rex Grossman, the Bears have no chance to make the playoffs. Their effort on defense is being affected by knowing their offense is completely inept. It was a very good game for the Cowboys, who proved they are the class of the NFC.
