No, it's not what you think, I'm talking about Comedy Central's first awards show. Did anybody else watch this? I caught the 2nd half or so since I was watching Arrested Development. I'm glad I finally found out who sings that "United States of Whatever" song from that skating game commercial. Anways, what did you guys who saw this think?
Caught the first 30 mins of it, and all it was, was a comedy show. Most of the winners didnt even take it seriously, and the one where they had the mother Jefferson accept an award because of a bad joke, was just that, bad. Even the audience didnt look into it and the editing was BAD to know it was a skit instead of a awards show. Wanda Stykes had the best award speech, from what I saw, by saying "I would thank Fox, but they havent renewed me, so FU*K 'em".
The best thing I saw was a commercial for the second season of Chappelle's Show. Thank God Comedy Central got something right.
