Just saw this guy on MSNBC with Carlson, and thought this to be an interesting topic to debate. This guy is basically urging people to stop turning Christmas into nothing more than an excuse to shop and buy gifts (the commercialization of Christmas), and he's taking his message on the road: http://www.revbilly.com/
These guys are pretty goofy. I saw them protesting at a disney store once. They had mickey and other disney characters crucified on crosses and were marching around arguing that disney products are produced through child labor and sweatshops. I didn't really have a problem with it except they started giving me a headache because they wouldnt stop yelling and they were kind of abrasive toward some of the customers.
seems like they're more interested in calling attention to themselves than to God or the problem they address. i didn't see the name, Jesus Christ, anywhere on that website.
Mildly offtopic, but I find it hilarious to hear people b**** and moan about "happy holidays" being used instead of "merry christmas", as they spend 100s of dollars at walmart buying sappy gifts to celebrate a formerly pagan holiday. Maybe "merry christmas" should be changed to "jesus wants you to buy stuff".
