    arrrrggggg!!!

All year you post Feigan articles and I have to avoid them, cause I want to read them in the morning in newspaper form at the coffee house with my dog...sigh. It is part of my morning ritual. Now you are summarizing the juiciest parts in your thread Titles, and I can't avoid them.

    Can you try titles like,

    "Feigan's article on Draft Day"
    "CD speaks to Chronicle"

and don't call me heypisser, just because I get grumpy when someone reads my sports section to me.

    arrrrrrgg

The Cat gets the scoop award on all the Chronicle articles. First to digital re-press!

One can only hope he doesn't discover thesportingnews.com or nba.com then we'd pretty much have our very own Catwire.

Who's knows what would happen if he got ESPN Insider!! [IMG]

heypartner -- are you really telling people on the board to stop posting information, or are you joking? I really can't tell.

    or like this

    -----------v
Awww... hey()'s routine was messed up.

Hmm, so much for civil conversation.

No, I really don't care that much what you think, but I do care what other people think about posting information on the board -- it's completely welcome and encouraged.

I think it is a total, redundant waste of bandwidth and harddrive space. No one should ever repost information from another website. And I will forever chastise people until they stop doing it. Did I say that civilly....is that a word?

Don't mess with my Feigan morning ritual, The Cat, I'll go schizo on you.

I like it when Cat posts the articles because that just makes it easier for me to gather the information I want.

That, and I hate the Chron website.

Sometimes people miss things, even if they are at a certain site...people like Cat help.

Squatting on old bones and excrement and rusty iron, in a white blaze of heat, a panorama of naked idiots stretches to the horizon. Complete silence-their speech centers are destroyed-except for the crackle of sparks and the popping of singed flesh as they apply electrodes up and down the spine. White smoke of burning flesh hangs in the motionless air. A group of children have tied an idiot to a post with barbed wire and built a fire between his legs and stand watching with bestial curiosity as the flames lick his thighs. His flesh jerks in the fire with insect agony.

It is hopeless Pole. I can't prevent misreads. Apparently I have 2 years of precedence to overcome...that's hopeless. The only hope is to lose my bet and all my post counts, then no one will take a newbie so seriously.

Achebe is right...my team is a bunch of suckers...we are going down!!!

The Cat....I sincerely (really) apologize if my post at all discouraged you from continuing your much appreciated Catwire work. But, how can I apologize to anyone who didn't see that I was making fun of strange Feigan morning ritual.

Damn, I keep apologizing without really knowing why.

Hey Crisco...I have a name for me should I lose:

    SorryPartner

    lol!

Jamcracker coined that one. That's what he keeps saying to me when we play bridge. jab [IMG]

So, can we talk about weird sport page rituals.

Who in college would get mad at a roommate for reading the sportslines headline to you...telling you who won or who got traded? Obviously, for me this was before the Internet or Cable in dorms to see Sportscenter?

It's just a silly sports page ritual, that the Internet and cable has obliterated. But I still have a lingering ritual for Jonathan Feigan.

I get sad when he doesn't have an article written on offseason days. sigh.

heh heh, since I live in Dallas, and don't have cable, I sometimes don't know the outcome of games beforehand (unless I am in chat, which is often). In these instances, when I load up cc.net to check and see if the Rockets win, I refuse to look at the screen until the entire page has loaded. I am convinced that not doing so would grossly effect the outcome of the game in some way.
