Stop with the madness, yes we lost a big game.

Tmac, Rafer, and Juwan were the primary culprits in this game. Tmac couldn't finish did not want to finish at the rim, defering to Yao at every opportuntiy. I thought Tmac was on a roll when he dunk on AK0. However, his drives to the bucket in the 4th Qtr did go in. If they do, we win going away. So don't worry.

Rafer's percentage has been horrible lately, however, he has hit some big shots in the 4th Qtr. I would have preferred Rafer drive to the bucket and dish, get a foul, or hit the layup. Without him, we all know the offense does not function. JLIII comes into the game and shoots a brick 3 immediately.

Juwan, is giving us nothing, defense, rebounds, and he's left wide open.

Finally, we were missing 4th qtr Luther Head who been known to hit a big shot every now and again.

Stay calm, the Jazz will lose to SA and Dallas we will be in front by 1/2 game. Setting up a rematch for the last game of the season.

Also, in order to win a series, we will need to win a game at Utah anyway even though we will have homecourt advantage.

The season is not over, but the game and intensity magnified the problems on the team that have been there all year and are still not fixed.

I think the Jazz are still catchable, but having to win at Utah in the last game of the year is a tall order.

The Rockets could have ....no SHOULD have won the game last night, and in my mind that could have a lingering effect in the upcomming games.

How they respond on Wed will tell a lot about this team.

I think you have this thread confused with the "b****" thread, which is basically the entire front page of the GARM.

Maybe you should ignore this thread until you're ready to calm down? ;)

maybe now it's time to think about getting the team prepared instead of getting homecourt advantage

we have to be realistic now, were not going to have homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs..

I think Tmac needs a hug from JVG to tell him he is the man and he expects him to do big things in 4th qtr like Kobe. We did get punked and we're up by 7 late in the game and I thought it was a wrap.

However, I still think we will take the Jazz in 6 games in the playoff, if we can stop the one pick and roll play they have been running since Sloan has hired in 2,000 B.C.

Sorry I offended some of you but I am talking facts, look at our record against the West as a whole and against these 4 teams in particular and tell me what is good to think about. It is right to give praise when it is due and be mad when it is also due.

The problem with the pick and roll play is that it takes our 2 weakest defenders in Yao and Rafer and exploits their lack of footspeed.

The Rockets need to help them out by scheming against it a little better....Rafer should over play Williams and force him away from the picker....and maybe JVG should think of a little zone thrown in to mix it up late...or double team Deron with the ball to get it out of his hands.

Nah......we can't make adjustments to help our team...can we?

Let's remember the big shots hit lately, Rafer against the Fakers, Luther against the Clip joint, and Shane against the Clip joint the redu. We have a clutch team, it didn't happen last night. I've experienced this with the Rockets since moving here in 86. This team will come through in the stretch.

If the Jazz lock up the 4th spot, I say we rest players for last 3 to 4 games.

They have no answer for Yao, Yao will consistenly outscore Boozer and Okur. Tracy and crew are the X factors

Glad to see DaDakota hasn't lost his "I'm so much smarter then everyone else on the GARM attitude...."

I blame the whole team for this loss, Yao had a great game but not down the stretch (last 4 min or so), T-Mac needs to assert himself more in games like this; christ he had Derek Fisher on him and didn't exploit that?

Chuck Hayes gets a pass as he showed up in his normal fashion; rebounds, energy and hustle.

Rafer? well you could have seen this comeing; he seems to get to amped up in big games. JVG needs to give him some ritalin or something before games.

We really missed Luther Heads 3pt shooting. He is our best 3pt % shooter next to Shane Battier and his presence was sorely missed tonight.

None of those teams are really playoff contenders....and it is sad we needed those shots to beat those scrubs.

Agreed, but we got to get some help on the PNR defense with Rafer and Yao.

DD, I think we should come with a bigger defensive unit of Snyder on Williams, Battier on Okur, Chuck on AK0, and Tmac on Harping, and Yao on Boozer.

I agree Rafer is a defensive liability and needs help

What is wrong with discussing with fellow members strategy? I am not saying I am smarter than anyone else....I am pointing out something I noticed...do you agree or disagree?

SHEEZUS people.......part of being a fan is discussing the Rockets and their players...good and bad......

What is working, what isn't....ideas to fix it.....you know......jock talk.

    How is this bad, again?
This would probably work on defense, but who plays the point on offense? Tmac?....actually since Tmac is the catalyst late, just let him bring the ball up in the last 4 minutes. Sounds like a decent plan to me.
