I finally got over my laziness and decided to make this thread. Unfortunately, I don't know of too many great deals at the moment (other than the Pro Duo deals going around lately), so I might need some help here. Here's the ones that I do know of: Full Auto (360) ~$45 (down from ~$60) shipped https://shop2.outpost.com/product/4462286 Valid until 2/21 IIRC. PGR2 (Xbox) ~$10 New http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/237765.asp?siteID=nFQfGaScW7s-F0nwB3oesPApk8mNFN*r1g There were some other deals earlier in the week, but I think they're over now, or will be soon. It is probably better to look at deals for the week at the beginning rather than the end I guess. Also, just for those that don't know about this, there are some coupon codes that you can use at ebgames.com and gamestop.com (mostly for used stuff). Here's some of those: EB Games: 15% off Used games/DVDs: CAG15 16% off Used games/DVDs (50$ or more total): CAG16 Free shipping on used game/DVDs: SAVER If you have a EB Edge card, you can use that to get an extra 10% off of used games/DVDs (25% for <$50, 26% $50+). GameStop: Free USA Value Shipping: FREESHIPALL Buy 2 used games/DVDs ($30+), get 1 free ($30-): 3FOR2PO They used to have some more, kind of like the EB Games deals, but I guess not any more. You can find all those codes at CAG BTW, as well as some other deals of course: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/ BTW, that's what the CAG in the thread stands for if you didn't know. Sorry about the lack of great deals, but I just wanted to get this started. I've subscribed to some feeds at a few sites recently, so hopefully that will help me stay on top of things in case any new deals show up. Hopefully, I'll get some better ones in a few days (deals for next week). edit: I forgot to check the CAG forums before I posted this. They had some info about deals at Fry's next week: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85213
ummm what does CAG stand for? I guess I haven't been gaming enough lately to know. I've spent most of my time working on my EMT work. I normally just play COD2 online for some fun during sparetime.
I sort of mentioned that in the OP, but not very clearly: CAG= Cheap Ass Gamer, which was the URL address I posted. I used that abbreviation a couple time already, so I kind of assumed most people knew what it meant. Sorry about that.
i picked up resident evil 4 for my ps2 for $37 and it is hands down the best game i have played on the system. i can\'t believe how good the graphics are it looks and plays like an x box 360 game.
Some new deals: PSP for ~$229 DS $99 after rebate http://eimages.ecost.com/rapcoupons/7219eCOST.pdf (rebate form, valid through 3/3) GameCrazy will be having a sale on 3/3, which includes the following: At Gamestop.com, use "20OFFU" to get 20% off of all preowned games and/or DVDs. Finally, the deals at Fry's:
$99?! Damn, that thing really has regressed. Weren't Gameboy advances sp or whatever they're called like $70-90~?
? What are you referring to? The Gamecube? It's end-of-lifespan has hit pretty hard. Not many original titles lined up. Seems Nintendo is totally geared up toward next gen (except for one last Zelda.)
MGS3:Snake Eater for $10 Sears.com has a similar offer for Snake Eater, as well as deals on many other games. Here are the highlights that I got from the CAG forums: You can use some of the following links to search by platform: XBOX PS2 GCN GBA NDS PSP Link to CAG thread for more links (including games mentioned above): http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86184 Also, another MS Pro Duo deal: 1GB MS Pro Duo $50, $37 after MIR
Me and My Katamari (PSP) $25 GR:AW (360) ~$49 PDZ:LE ~$48 Far Cry (360) ~$48 Free DS game with purchase of a DS Gran Turismo 4 and God of War have become Greatest Hits, so you should be able to find them for $20 or less at most places. There are also some new "Platinum Hits" for the Xbox ($9.99 each I think): Counterstrike Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Enter the Matrix Fuzion Frenzy MechAssault Project Gotham Racing 2 Shrek 2 Soul Calibur II Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3 Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Tony Hawk's Underground Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 True Crime: Streets of LA And the Fry's ads:
i just saw the commercial for this, its what i've been waiting for, i'm gonna pick up my copy tomorrow... on a side note, this month's game informer has an extensive article on GOW2. i don't think there is an online article though.
Yeah, I think it was a magazine exclusive, at least for a short while. Although there were some scans posted online, some by me. Eh...maybe I'm just don't care so much for the deals I'm finding, but it just seems like there haven't been many great deals lately. Only the weekly Fry's ads seem somewhat noteworthy, yet I think everyone knows about those already. Here they are anyway:
Btw, i saw in the Circuit City ad that GTA: San Andreas (Xbox/PS2) along with the Tom Clancy Trilogy (Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Rainbox Six) is $10 .
