    I am forced to listen to The Buzz at my current job. And if that doesn't suck enough, I have noticed that half the songs played seem to be covers. What is up with that? Here is what I have noticed:

    Foo Fighters - Darling Nikki
    Limp Bizkit - Behind Blue Eyes
    I have heard a Cure cover but I don't know who it is
    I know No Doubt felt like they had to massacre "It's my Life" by Talk Talk

    I also want to kill those hyper-active DJs. It is torture.

    Boys of Summer was remade recently by the Ataris.

    And I'm not a fan of Little Jerry, either.

    Joss Stone is covering a song that still gets radio play(Fell in love with a girl by the White Stripes). she calls it Fell in Love with a boy and gets noted "Buzzworthy" on MTV cause she is a sexy seventeen year old vixen



    not that theres anything wrong with that

    Since the buzz started playing "Hey Ya" I stopped listening.
    No Steve and Jeff, no Fox as a listener.
    The buzz sucks donkey balls. You can quote me on that.

    A band called Him has a cover of "Wicked Game" on their latest US release that I'm really liking right now.

    Yeah, I was pretty upset when Steve and Jeff got pulled.

    Anyone know what happened to them? Did CC move them to another market or station?

    Blame Clear Channel. For everything. Pay-for-play junk and automaton DJs.

    It's a sad fact, but creativity doesn't really bring in the bucks.

    The DJs on the BUZZ (and the other seven radio stations Clear Channel owns in Houston) are probably not even in Houston. Getting traffic and weather feeds from Houston contractors and then broadcasting them from elsewhere probably.

    I don't have a problem with Andre 3000 being played on 94.5. I think Andre is kinda Prince-esque. I mean he is playing the guitar and stuff.

    I happen to like 311's cover of the Cure. I mean, I like the Cure very much, and it's good to see other bands cover them. Hopefully, it will kinda shine the light on who the Cure is to the younger people.


    And yes, Little Jerry sucks ass. He is the worse DJ on the Buzz. Him, and Zakk United. Rod Ryan, I can handle Paul Janzten or whatever his name is, I can handle.

    I hate the Buzz's new DJ's. They are horrible yet they've gone up in the ratings quite a bit so it seems to be connecting with some people.

    I saw Steve Robinson's name in a "Looking for Work" directory on a music website i check. He had his home number, cell number, and email address listed. I couldn't find anything about Jeff unfortunately.

    Every time I am taking out a CD in my car CD player, I hear that infernal No Doubt remake of "It's My Life". I get very violent when I hear that as it pisses me off to no end.

    I'm astounded at the amount of people that dislike No Doubt's cover of "It's My Life." The original was horrible, in my humble opinion.
