Probably one star and flames. But dear God, I'm loving how the Rockets are playing. But dear God, why is Bobby Jackson on this team? I'm being a hater, but everytime he bricks wide open layups, my frustration with him grows. :/
I agree. He sucks. He cant shoot and turns the ball over more than James ever did. Trade Jackson for whoever number 5 is on the Hornets. He hit a 3.
always something.....geez.......quit complaining and enjoy the moments........i vote for thread FAIL!
This thread blows. Jackson has a bad quarter and people are ready to crucify him. I'll welcome you back on his bandwagon when he starts playing well and making big plays. Enjoy the game, we're up by 13 for crying out loud! Waiting for locky...
How beautiful is it that we can survive erratic play from our backup PG because of the steady, solid play we're getting from our starting PG? When was the last time we could say that?
For clarfication sake, I'm not frustrated at him for the one quarter, I'm frustrated at him for his well...entire Rockets career and his recent NOK adventure. Maybe someone can point something wrong with my perceptions... But if you discount the Dallas game and the Chicago game, BJax is shooting something like 25%. (and even if you add them, 37.5% is Jason-Kidd-like...i.e worst shooting PG in history of world-like). True...that is through just 6 games. But dudes, the man has been shooting 39% for the last two years and has missed more games then someone who misses a lot of games. I'm sensing "general trend". ...Mostlt because the man takes such off-balence jumpers. When they go in, I'm amazed. I shoot my jumpers on one foot too, and it is tough. But he uh...plays in the NBA. And to be fair, I was against the BJax trade. I'm somewhat of a Rafer fan (silent minority!!111), so it's nice to crucify a poor-shooting point guard I feel isin't contributing to anything else. His defense...I'm skeptical. Seeing PGs blow by him is not a comforting sight (although, I may be a bit biased here, since I'm stuck with the perception that Rafer is a great defender). His ballhandling...too much. He tends to hog possesion and stop ball motion. Last of all, lock the thread if my point is too bad. But damn son, locking the thread because it's a negative stuck in a world of positives? I think there's a relevant point. So before you flame me, at least flame my point first. Thank you, come again.
It isn't about this one game. Bjax was terrible with the hornets and he is terrible with us. He is old can't really elevate and plays bad D. He might get hot, but thats not going to change the facts that he is on the downside.
Yep. Although, I have to admit the timing is off on my part, I've been wanting to complain about it for a while. I think there's a pretty good point in it though...I'd prefer Brooks over Jackson. If anything, I think Bobby is holding the Rockets back, which is scary considering how well the Rockets have preformed.
He is the one part about the team that is pissing me off right now. The guys straight up SUCKS. But as long as the are winning it is fine I geuss
We didn't get BJ for his shooting. We got him to run the offense. Since he's been a Rocket our offense has not bogged down much with Rafer out of the game. Here' how much we've outscored the other teams when BJ has played: Dall +4 Indy +17 Denv +3 Mem -5 Was +19 Chi +21 BJ is shooting around his average for the season. He's not going to become a great scorer or shooter. BUT, he runs the offense well and these numbers are clear proof of that.
bobby jackson will have trouble against quicker pgs simply because of his age. but other than that he's a way better defender than any other pg that played for the rockets this year. and he can create and shoot. so he had a bad game against his old team. stuff happens. stop hatin'. 18 IN A ROW, BABY!!!!!!!!
BJ sucks,i mean his offence. he just can't shoot the damn ball in ,what's more frustrating,he just keeps turn the ball over and over again. he always got cornered and cann't pass the ball out to a good position. He is a failure.
