The Black Mamba vs. The Mongoose

I kind of like that nickname for Ron in that he's rugged or looks like a mongoose...

 

I think Battier should get more of the minutes guarding Bryant, with Artest being used as a change-of-pace. That would allow Ron to concentrate more on scoring.

 

How does Artest get "The Mongoose?"

Aren't mongooses slender and sleek? Like Battier?

If each of Artest and Battier is a mongoose, together, are they the mongeese?

 

No. They are the fighters of our team

 

archie moore was the mongoose - i don't think artest is like archie moore, he's more of a wolverine or a badger. Very strong, sharp claws, etc.

 

First Artest need to beat or at least match-up to kobe to be termed the mongoose. And looking at how Roy plays in the series, I cant see artest beating kobe.

But I sure can see big games from Yao. His playing great, playing defense and grabbing boards.
