Well? Those of you not attending any of the incredible selection of games this weekend, and are college FB fans, what are you doing about it today?

I'm headed to a bar with a few friends to take it all in...

    Penn State/Michigan
    Oklahoma/Texas
    Florida State/Miami
    Pitt/Notre Dame
    Oregon/UCLA
    LSU/Florida
    Tennessee/Georgia

    *drool*

BTW, good luck to the Longhorns and the Seminoles. I'm pulling for you, if that means anything :)

    There is really only one game today;

    Notre Dame vs Pittsburgh

All others are just fill in fodder until the real game starts (2:30 est)

    :D

I'm fixing to watch my Canes (hopefully) blow out FSU right now.

Then at 2:30, I will switch back and forth between Georgia-UT and OU-Texas.

My teams that I am rooting for: Miami, Georgia, Texas, and Pitt:p

I'm sitting in my living room and enjoying a day of football.

I would go out, but you can't hear the game well in a bar... I don't want distractions today.

Well, doesn't look like a blowout win for Miami.

Hell, I'll just take a win, but I am seriously having my doubts.

    :(

    This is pitiful and pathetic.

My impressions of the first half of FSU and Miami:

    1) This is without a doubt the worst first half that I have seen Miami play under Larry Coker.

    2) With the exception of the last drive, Ken Dorsey looks like he has never even played in a big game before in his lifetime. If Dorsey REALLY is a Heisman candidate, he will have to come through in the 2nd half big time.

    3) It is obvious that Miami's base defense cannot stop the FSU running game. They will have to bring up a safety or use blitzes or something to slow the FSU ground game down. I would rather have Chris Rix beat me than the FSU ground game.

    4) Willis McGahee has got to get it going on the ground. This, obviously, will make life easier for Dorsey.

I also feel that Miami has got to get tougher and get rid of this "superiority" attitude of theirs.

The bottom line is that FSU has some athletes and has played well. Miami is still the better team (even if they lose this game), but right now FSU is doing the better job of executing. Hopefully, that will change in the 2nd half.

And remember, as poorly as Miami played, they still only trail by 3 points.

I would go to the Tap but my beer is free. There are some great games on today but my true joy in life comes on Sundays.

So many great games and Fox decides to go with some mid evil knight movie. Come on guys...

Notre dame's nickle is not working on Pitt. Recievers look wide open.

What was Rix thinking?!? Diving and sacrificing his body? You just don't do that as a quarterback. Sheesh.

Dumb move. He was thinking in the short term, getting a first down, but not in the long term, an injury.

what was funnier was seeing guys pat his head when he walked back to the sidelines, and he pushed them away.

um, dude just landed on his neck... pats on the ass only please! :D
