I think it is Marcus Fizer, he is a banger with an attitude. You have to be a little mean and smart to excel in the NBA, and Fizer is both. Mihm is too soft, Martin has no offensive game, Swift is too light, and not a banger. I think in 10 years Fizer will be the best player to come out of this draft. DaDakota ------------------
Ah, but would you draft Fizer with the First pick. Nope!!! But you could always trade down to the 4th pick and get fizer there. Martin, Swift, and Mihm are the top three picks. Fizer may bump one of those guys but not all three. ------------------
But, he does know how to play the game. A lot of heart. No denying there from seeing him play all season long. ------------------
Martin with no offensive game? That may have been true a few years ago when he was still swatting people's stuff to halfcourt just without putting up the offensive numbers. But this year he really worked and developed that 16-17 ft jumper, and that shows the guy has some ethic. I like Fizer's offensive skills, but I've heard from Aldridge and others that there's concern about him not being the rebounder he should be. You're right about Swift, and while I don't think Mihm will be a bust I certainly don't think he'll be the franchise center everyone's billing him to be. If everyone was able to see the games at the Drum I did, they'd know he's probably a little too soft to be a true banger in the NBA. Someone in another thread compared him to Jon Koncak--I don't know--we all know he can shoot, but I'd like to see what he can do with his back to the basket without being quadruple-teamed. I think we're all a little curious...If you ask me he'll put up about 14 and 8 next year. ------------------
I have said it before and I will say it again. Fizer is the best player in this draft. He will win rookie of the year. ------------------
