How about Shaq for the MLE, Yao could play 24 minutes, Shaq play 24 minutes, and hope  both are healthy come playoff time. Just make sure Yao is playing the last 5 minutes of the game, to avoid hack a shaq.

Give me his brother, Scola, Hill and Yao...I'd go to battle with that.

What's the point of this thread? Most on this list are not available. Chris Bosh is probably the best C/PF out there on the free agency market. I'm content with us settling with Bosh. :p

With Bosh, we're still need a backup center. Don't think Bosh wants to or is good enough to play C.

    we need 2 guys.

    1. a backup C/F who can defend and block shots. i say C/F because it would be nice if he could play alongside yao if needed.

    2. a quick PF who can also spread the floor.

See Al Jefferson. Pf who can also work shoe box and rebound. Hill comes in and can slide to play center and mainain defensive presence, rebounding and low post scoring.

Shaq is an intriguing choice, but I think we need someone more reliable considering that's the issue with Yao. It's still interesting to consider.

Marc Gasol seems to fit what we are looking for and is the type of effort guy we like.

I would rather not rely on a draft pick. We can't keep developing players, we need proven guys.

    Marcus Camby will be perfect.
