The BBS Rankings by Post Count and Posts Per Average Per Day

    Okay, I have been wanting to do this since the topic came up over a month ago. I would like to do a rankings, for information purposes and also entertainment value (I think it would be fun to see something like this), of number of posts and the posts per average per day.

    Here is the criteria:



    1)Only members with 400 posts as of this coming Sunday, October 21, 2001 are eligible to be on the list (I'll explain that later & no it has nothing to do with the "clique":D )

    2)Only active posters will be considered with active meaning that the member has at least one post on one of the BBS Forums since August 1, 2001. For example, Ace is not eligible because he is not been active.

    3)Only posts under the current handle will count toward the total. Posters like oeilpere and Puedlfor cannot have their other posts under the handles popeye and Tolpatsch Verkinder count for them. It would be impossible to get an accurate count, so that stipulation unfortunatley has to be made.



    As for the posters with less than 400 posts - there are over 3000 registered members here. If I didn't pick a cut-off point, this would be a job that would be endless. 400 seems to be a magic number plus it makes one a Sr Member, therefore it is easier to identify the members with high post counts. Also, only those with 400 posts will have their posts per average per day listed as well.

    Here is where I need the BBS's help:

    I have come up with a pretty lengthy list of members with over 400 posts as of 9:30, tonight. Please look at the list and post any members left off the list. I would like to try to do the rankings for all 400+ by next weekend. So, hopefully, by this time next week, everybody will be accounted for. Also, I would like to keep adding to this thread anytime a new member joins the "400 Club".

    No offense, Manny, but you do know Clutch runs this thing on a database, don't you? It wouldn't take him any time to actually generate these numbers and he's actually done it in the past.

    I believe this question was asked and the answer was one that implied it would not be easy to come up with. Why? I don't know..but obviously I wouldn't have started this thread if I didn't know this.

    It wouldn't take long for me to reach 1000. BTW - I believe you were the one who wanted to see something like this. Now, you are changing your tune. You're not doing that because you are trying to get into the "clique"?
