I really don't post much, but I've been a member here for a while and I swear that some of you missed the boat ride! It's hard to believe that Rocket fans can complain about 21ppg 6 and 6. Some of you are r****ds! I understand that Steve has things about is game he needs to work on, but hell who doesn't. I personal do not think he is a selfish player....what games were some of you watching? There were many times when I was begging him to shoot the damn ball because "Rudy-Ball" wasn't working. I also don't understand how he can be blamed for not running an offense that wasn't there? Rudy is loved in this city and always will be, but he and his coaching staff was the blame for last year...not the Franchise. Steve, being the leader of this team did not point fingers, but excepted blame and vowed to get better. Taking the high road. It's really amazing to me that Rocket fans can not appreciate what WE have. There are so many teams in the NBA that would love to be in our shoes right now by having a ALL-STAR point guard with his kind of talent. What can't this guy do? It's not his fault we missed the playoffs! It's not his fault that Yao isn't ready to be a force, or his team mates couldn't make open shots when he set them up. Because the Rockets are losing, Steve has to take the blame for it? 21ppg 6 and 6 is is blame? There are only TWO freaking players in the whole league putting up numbers like that! Let's just forget about good ole Rudy T and that coaching staff.....they had nothing to do with our offense, or lack thereof. I'm not a member of the official "Steve Francis Fan Club" just a old Rockets faithful that sees a different colored RED than some of you. Let's start appreciating our good players and stop bashing them because there is nothing else better to do. He needs to work on parts of his game to be better...hell the whole team does and the entire league. It could be worse........Moochie could be running the show fulltime!
practice what you preach. SF is a helluva talented player, but if you can't see there are flaws to his game that he seriously needs to work on then you need to open your eyes.
mmmmm.....Can you read? I stated a couple of times that he has things to work on. I'm not blind and I also mentioned that I'm not in Steve's Fan Club. Some of you "Senior" members are way too critical!

Let's see: "there are some things he needs to work on but everyone does..." shlob his knob for about 500 or so words then end with "there are some things he needs to work on but everyone does..." Yup, I think I read it quite fine. The "things he needs to work on" are extremely important to the team's success that can't be glossed over(defense, getting teamates involved, and running the break/pushing the ball), unless Yao supplants him as being the best player on the team. That enough for you "Junior"?
Isn't the point of this board for people who follow the Rockets to discuss and debate the Rockets? Isn't discussing the strengths and weakness' of the players part of that? I don't think the title of this forum is "Kiss The Rocket Players Ass' because they are all perfect gods"
I knew that eventually all the Stevie bashers would emerge from their cubicles and debate this. It's funny....probably none of you has ever played organized basketball before (and I'm not talking about the W-ymca league) and have all the answers in the world. All of you act like little nagging women that over cooked the chicken pot pie and now the free world is at jeopardy. All you girls do is complain about petty ****! I can't stand to see grown men nag, b!tch and complain. I DO believe that Steve has parts of his game that he needs to work on...fine. It's not his fault that the Rockets can't make the playoffs and if you want to blame someone, blame the previous coaching staff.
