Has anyone seen this show? I generally don't like or watch MTV, but this show is the funniest thing I've ever seen. Basically its 12 contestants vying for the job to be Andy Dick's assistant. I've never liked Andy Dick, but he is absolutely eccentric and carries the show on his shoulders. One of the funny parts of the show is that instead of calling one of the contestants by his name, he refers to him as "a##hole" instead. He also cut another contestant within 10 minutes of him meeting him for the first time. The show runs on Monday's at 9:30 PM.
You know how there's DeadOrAlive.com and HotOrNot? Well, this is where GayOrStraight(or Bi).com would be very useful. Seriously, I have no idea; I mean with a name like Andy Dick...
Great show. Here's an interesting tidbit: Andy Dick dating contestant on 'Assistant' By Associated Press NEW YORK (AP) -- Although Andy Dick is searching for a guy or gal Friday on his new MTV reality show, "The Assistant," the 38-year-old actor-comedian may have found romance. Dick, co-star of the '90s sitcom "NewsRadio," said during Howard Stern's radio show Monday he's dating one of the female contestants. "They've gone out on a couple of times post-show," Dick's publicist, Nicole Chabot, told The Associated Press Wednesday. According to Stern's official Web site, after "The Assistant" wrapped, Dick "gave everyone his cell phone number and some of the girls called him to hang out. Now he's seeing one of the girls from the show, but he's not ready to settle down with just one girl." In "The Assistant," Dick picks from 12 young people hoping to make it in the entertainment industry after they compete in menial tasks. The winner will receive a new wardrobe, car and an entry-level Hollywood gig. MTV declined Wednesday to comment about Dick's personal life.
It's on just now. He did the whole Survivor type thing where they distinguish the flames of those who are cut... only he accidently lit the tree on fire and it spread like crazy, everyone took off running. Funniest thing of the year if it wasn't staged
I think the whole entire show is staged, but it's still funny. re: the birthday. He said he told the dude it was Andy Garcia's birthday on the 11th. I checked, it's not. Everything they do is a setup.
Pretty funny...I wonder which chick he's banging...that is really one way to get into the business...
This and Road Rules are the only reality shows I'll watch. I'm not a huge fan of Andy Dick, but at least his show makes me laugh alot.
