is it me or you cant really use any fancy cheeses, like a deli - slice pepper jack.. it seems that you have to go with a kraft sandwhich slice variety or something close.... i say this because, i tried a deli sliced cheese and it wasn't up to the mark... wait, maybe its the bread im using....

"No one makes cheese like the Americas, I tell ya wut." when I think of grilled cheese... I think of the simple years of childhood... where, as George Carlin might phrase it... you take a Kraft cheese single, two slices of white bread, some butter... and you grill the f***ing thing! let's not complicate something that's been so beloved and enjoyed by many generations... for it's delicious simplicity...
Bread and extra sharp cheddar. Smash it, slice it diagonally, and drop some mustard on it. Simple, pure goodness.

yeah pretty crazy then. Tonight the Quick Fire challenge (the first challenge, 20 mins long if you're not familiar) was for them to make their best grilled cheese for 1 judge. It was the short/easy challenge. They all did different versions of gourmet grilled cheeses in their own styles
