22 years old when O. J. Simpson was charged with murder I saw this and all I could think about was being at Tortillas in Clear Lake watching the Rockets play the Knicks in the finals and being interrupted by the "White Bronco" chase. It was cool at first, but then I remembered about the game and ran outside to listen to my car radio.
I am 15 yrs and 2 months younger than Bill gates. I was beginning to worry, but I bet I can catch him (financially) in that amount of time. You think?

I was sort of in shock about that and all through the 3-day weekend I kept thinking about it... my lab partner met me to work on a project and told me about the Oklahoma City bombing... When O.J. took his famous Bronco ride, I was with a whole bunch of people in a dorm hall at UT, and of course we had been trying to watch the Rockets game. That's when I joined the Rockets bandwagon.
I was 15 when Princess Di died. I found out while I was on the phone with my boyfriend, who was Irish (born and raised in). I remember how weird it was because he wasn't too bothered by it. I'd never really experienced the Irish/English relationship until that day. I also remember the Oklahoma City bombing(13), OJ(12), World Trade Center bombing (11), and the Gulf War (9). I don't remember the Challenger crash at all, but my family says I talked about it all the time. My dad works at NASA and they said he told me about it. And then for the next few weeks, I'll I talked about was "the astronauts that died." I felt bad because their kids didn't have daddies and mommies anymore. I don't remember any of it, but that's what they tell me. I was 4.
yeah I hear ya. Im the same age as you, and the Dianna thing was weird. I think I was home for the weekend and all my buddies went out looking for a fun time at the bars. all we found were women watching the TVs and crying. Down right surreal. the weirdest though is that I remember when Reagan was shot. I was in a Deli called Fedis. It was announced on the radio, and everyone was just standing around. my mother explained to me what was happening. any hoo I gotta sleep now. damn work!! PEACE
That did bring back memories. I didn't realize I was so young for most of those events. I was in Oklahoma checking up on the construction of our house in Stillwater during the OKC bombimg and my mom was in the city interviewing for a job. Oddly enough I had been in NYC earlier that year at the time of the first Trade Center bombing and was supposed to be in them except our lunch took too long. Scary.
I'm 0 years and 0 months older than Jenna and Baraba Bush, age 20. 15 when Princess Di died. I remember getting up pretty early in the morning for a tennis game and watching a report on tv. I woke my mum and dad up, and we kept watching for most of the day. I was also 8 when Seinfeld started...damn, that makes me feel really old. I was also 8 when Home Alone came out, jeez, I remember loving that film. It was my favorite for many years. But what does it all mean???? .
