Did anyone watch it last summer? I thought it was a pretty good show and it's coming back on for season two at 8 on USA. The season one marathon will just end in a few minutes, but the season one DVD is available for real cheap. Basically, 4400 people who were abducted in the world over the last 50 years or so have reappeared out of nowhere. They're back and they didn't age, so now they have to cope with life today while having superpowers to deal with. You can watch some trailers http://www.usanetwork.com/series/the4400/index.html
I had heard about the series after it was over, but checked out the DVD's last christmas & watched the entire deal in one sit down. It was that good! I was really excited about it coming back. & The Dead Zone is also good & it comes on right after the 4400 next sunday.
I'm going to watch USA a lot this summer. They have all new episodes of Monk, 4400, and Dead Zone. So cool... Monk and Dead Zone are my favorites, but 4400 is good too. On 4400, I was wondering why that army veteran (who's with that pregnant woman), doesn't have any special powers? Everyone else seems to have powers.
Phreak, I was wondering the same damn thing last night ! That is going to bug me. Did I miss it in the first season ? Maybe his power is being so damn ugly & getting such a hot chick
The thing about a series like this is they will never give you a conclusion. How many of these things ever give you some kind of resolution.
Actually, they have given us the biggest answer as to why the 4400 have returned. It's to save humanity from its downfall. The series is just seeing how they will all do that.
I just saw this show for the first time during the marathon. My fiance' and I are hooked now. We watched the first episode of the new season even though we have only seen 2 episodes of the first season. I may have to go out and get the season one DVD set, because I am starting to dig on this show.
