The 25 Most Rewatchable Movies Of All Time Star Wars The Wizard of Oz The Sound of Music The Lord of the Rings (series) Gone With the Wind The Godfather The Princess Bride The Shawshank Redemption Harry Potter (series) It’s A Wonderful Life Forrest Gump Grease Dirty Dancing Pulp Fiction Titanic The Lion King Pretty Woman Casablanca The Matrix The Notebook Star Trek Finding Nemo Goodfellas Pride & Prejudice Caddyshack The Avengers
The Martian just got added to HBO this weekend and I swear it's the most re-watchable thing ever. Probably had it on my TV 5 separate times.
So, I am a stickler for aliens....anytime I see the beginning of Contact or Independence Day...I have to stop what I am doing and watch.
That's actually a pretty good list. Although I can never sit through a LOTR movie ever again. When it's on TV it's stretched out to like 5 hours. I can't do that. But I will watch like 20 minutes of it.
Movies that I have watched numerous times: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb Groundhog Day Excalibur The Incredibles A Few Good Men [Edit] Stealing from other people's list: Blade Runner This is Spinal Tap Raising Arizona Stripes Blues Brothers Big Trouble in Little China Dazed and Confused Form the original 25: Star Wars The Princess Bride It’s A Wonderful Life Casablanca Caddyshack
Star Trek, The Avengers, Pride & Prejudice(boring af) are all on there but no COMING TO AMERICA TRADING PLACES ANCHORMAN OLD SCHOOL STEP BROTHERS Lolz f'ck that list.
The list does not include the most rewatchable movie of all time and my favorite movie of all time - This is Spinal Tap. At a minimum the first 15 times the movie is watched there will be new lines/reactions/expressions/lyrics to catch and appreciate. It is then best to discuss the movie with others trade observations of the hidden gems, and then watch it again 4 or 5 more times to appreciate the new hidden gems. So much going on in that movie.
Raising Arizona, big lebowski, Oh brother where art thou, Stripes, Blues Brothers. That list is lacking some great comedy.
