I have smoked most of my life and would like to eventually quit.

I smoked Marlboro Lights the majority of it, but changed my brand last year. What I never liked about them was that sometimes the cigarette tastes different.

I now smoke Camel Turkish Golds. They're very smooth.

I don't but my future wife does. Smokers are funny people, they like the taste of it, but some don't the smell of others smoking. We just had a smoking ban in all public places voted in last weekend, I was all for it.

Damnit...I had quit at the end of my basketball season. I bought another pack 2 days ago. I'll try to quit again after this pack.

    Marlboro lights.

Not that picky about my smokes. Usually buy Camel Lights, have smoked Marlboros & Winston Lights too. American Spirits & Parliament Lights aren't bad either. Working on some Marlboro No. 27's currently.

Dunhills & Davidoffs are good every once in a while. Found some Chesterfields in Eastern Europe, those were good, don't see them in the States though. Derby seemed to be the Central American cig of choice. I miss those.

    Anything but menthols.

I don't...Only second hand smoke, or if I get really drunk...Isn't it going to get a lot more expensive, like a dollar a pack...

    That's reason enought to quit...

    Good one. :D

I smoke, but don't care for the second hand smoke. I also don't smoke as much the day after drinking a bunch.

Smoked from 11 years old to 22 (last year)

    Quitting wasn't hard at all.

For me, I knew I wanted to quit, and wasn't half assing it like all the other times. Deep down inside I didn't want to smoke and I quit cold turkey and never looked back.

Me too, but if I remember correctly we are "wrong" about second-hand smoke being deadl(ier)y-- according to some university nerd who posted a study. It made no sense to me; second hand smoke doesn't even go through a filter. Obviously it's less dense.... but I'm not because I've never smoked... other than sloppy seconds. :D

    Is that a RUSSIAN box?

My dad used to smoke RALEIGH back in Mexico. My uncle used to smoke Delicados or Faros. My uncle died of lung failure. I don't smoke.

I had my last cig on New Years Eve 1999. Quit for Y2K. I also quit a stressful job in 1999, so that made it much easier.

I had to quit smoking 12 years ago bc I ended up with wicked sinus infections. However, I still smoke cigars from time to time, and I am sorry if you hate how they smell. They go great with Irish whiskey.
