    How anyone could root for a team whose pitching staff makes more than the opposing team combined is beyond me.

    I'm goin for the marlins just cuz I think that 39 times to the world series for the Yankmees is waaaayyy too much. Give someone else a chance!

    If the marlins can win at least one of the first 2 games, marlins win the series in 7.
    If they cant, Yankmees win in 5.

    I want Loria to hoist the World Series trophy just to rub it in to those Montreal whiners who don't want their team but don't want anyone else to have it, either.

    I do. Baseball is awesome and if the small-mid market team wins the WS again instead of the Yankees, it makes me smile. Well, not really, because the more teams like the Marlins win the WS, the longer it will take for MLB to fix its financial problems...but while watching the games I can't help but root for the Marlins.

    Coming off an ALCS game 7 like that seemed to have drained them a bit (not to take away from the fish's 3 - 1 comeback).

    They looked flat and tired!

    Hopefully Andy can get em back on track!

    The Yankees are 8-1 in series in which they lost the first game under Torre, I think. .

    Here's hoping for 8-2.
