    Alright, after a lot of discussion, we've come to a method signing current free agents. We'll have a 2 round draft of the current free agents, with order determined by record, with a tiebreaker being point differential.

    This draft will take place sometime after Monday, this is what we need to determine sometime this week.

    Anyway, these players can only be signed now, and once the draft is over, they're not going to be signed until the year is over and we enter postseason free agency. After this draft, a team can only sign the Sub-55 guys that Moe has posted previously.

    The reason for this is to help the lower teams improve while also making this free agent period and a short and quick process.

    After Moe sims on monday, the order will be posted, and you can do whatever you want with your "common picks". You can trade them or keep them, it doesn't really matter.

    Remember there is no salary cap, so you don't have to worry about whether you can afford a guy or not.

    If you can't make it, then please let someone in the sim league know what positions you'd like to draft or what players you'd like to draft so they can choose for you.

    The draft should take no longer than an hour to complete if we all work in this together. Each GM will have 5 minutes to make his pick known, and then we'll move onto the next one. If he does not post his pick within 5 minutes, he will be skipped, with the ability to jump back in and draft whenever he makes up his mind or shows up.

    This draft will move much quicker if we all show up to the chatroom one day, but I know that's not possible so please give someone a list of players you want prior to the draft.

    Now we must decide a time to draft, I'd prefer to do this on Wednesday or Thursday evening, but I'm flexable. Please post in this thread the times you can show up or the times you definitely can't show up. Hopefully we can come up with a date by monday whenever I post the Draft Order.

    I'm not sure yet if I'll be busy or not during next week, so whatever time you guys choose is fine with me. I'll try to make it then, or just make a list of positions I would like if I'm not around.

    Btw, congrats on your 3,500th post BGM

    nomar - bgm is in charge of Free agency , All I am going to do is sign the players unto your team . I will be at the draft but BGM is in charge of it . I am free everynight this week except Wednesday .

    Remember, you can trade these picks...

    This is your only chance to be able to sign free agents above the rating of 55. After this period, you can only sign sub-55 players to fill holes in your roster.

    Wednesday night at 8 is bad for me.

    BGM or moe: could you pick for me? All I'm interested in on this draft is defensive players mainly linebackers and defensive backs.

    I say Any night but wednesday and you guys pick wednesday . :) , Well I guess BGM will have to pick for me as well

    Wednesday night is bad for me also, even though it's already been decided....so I will need someone to pick for me also. I will send a list to whomever picks for of positions I want.

    Well we were talking about not doing during a Rockets game, so maybe we could try to do this draft before the game?

    How about Tuesday at 6 pm central?

    It's an hour and a half before the Bulls game, and if we happen to run overtime, we could finish it off in the other chatroom.

    Which would you prefer?

    Tuesday at 6 pm or
    Wednesday at 8 pm or
    Thursday at 6 pm

    Everyone please reply with a time you prefer...

    Tuesday at 6 or Thursday at 6 is fine with me. The only way that I could see not making it is if I have to work late. If I am unable to make it, I would still need you to draft for me.

    If someone cannot make it submit a list of needs to BGM or me , If you dont best Player avail will be drafted , Im going to sim Week 8 now .

    Maybe we should all add our e-mails for stuff like this. I checked this thread at the beginning and thought that it would take place Wednesday at 8:00...oops.
