    The number one player is:
    1.Griffin
    2.Curry
    3.Brown
    4.Gasol
    5.Richardson
    6.Diop
    7.Chandler
    8.White
    9.Battier
    10.Johnson
    11.Jefferson
    12.Bradley

In my opinion, one of these guys has to drop to the 13th spot. Any one of them. I'd be happy with any one of them.

Woods, Haywood, Murphy, Johnson, etc. well are only going to be role players. But the top 11 or 12 players will be viable all stars in this league. The next all star would have to be a real find.

Jefferson to the Celtics? How does that make any sense?

There will never be a draft with 11 to 12 can't miss players in it.

I don't see how you can have Pau Gasol in your top 5. He averaged 11 POINTS in EUROPE. Whoopdie freakin do. I'd take Jason Richardson over him anyday.

I'd love to have 2 Johnsons on our team. Joe at 13, Ken at 22. That would be sweet.

God I hope we draft Joe Johnson. [IMG]

I agree, finalsbound. If Johnson is available at the 13th pick, and we don't take him, it will have been a huge mistake, in my opinion.

Does anyone know if teams can start working out early entry draftees yet?

there were a lot of can't miss players in the 99-00 draft class with 9 of them.
Brand, Francis, Davis, Odom, Terry. Sczerbiak, Miller, Marion, and Hamilton.
2 of these players have a chance to be really really special players in Francis and Odom. Brand, Davis, and Marion are going to be superstars, and Terry, Sczerbiak, Miller, and Hamilton all will be stars in this league. Bender and Maggette are other players who have a lot of untapped potential.

Thats with you looking back at the draft, but before the draft, how many can't miss palyers were there? I know Terry, Marion, Sczerbiak and Odom were all risks. What about Sczerbiak and Davis? Were those guys sure-fire stars before the draft, or just risks that panned out?

First of all, why being cynical??

Gasol, is going to be one of those players who shoots up the lottery. Already, I'm hearing great raves of this guy.

And what is wrong with Jefferson to Boston? They have Pierce, yes. But Jefferson can play either SF or SG. Versatility.

Hey say my mock draft is stupid. Say it's dumb and makes no sense. But just don't be cynical. We are Houstonians. Or are you a New Yorker?
