Sorry, the formatting didn't translate too well. Any smutty movies that I should have included?

    9 1/2 weeks (1986)
Foreplay: Wall Street banker Mickey Rourke and whip-smart Kim Basinger write new chapters in the kama sutra with the aid of restraints, a refrigerator and glossy photography.
Money Shot: As Basinger writhes in blindfolded ecstasy, Rourke rubs an ice cube over her lips, neck and nipples. Guys jealous of Rourke would get their revenge: the next 20 years.

    Showgirls (1995)
Foreplay: The makers of Basic Instinct moved next to Las Vegas, where clothes are a secondary consideration. With Elizabeth Berkley as a stripper, so were plot, script and acting ability.
Money Shot: A buck-naked Berkley dives underwater to show casino exec Kyle MacLachlan that bubbles aren't the only thing you can blow in a pool. Wonder if she learned that in Saved by the Bell.

    Wild Things (1998)
Foreplay: Double-crossings, girl-on-girl action, and Kevin Bacon's bacon. It doesn't get any trashier. Or hotter. The campy lust makes the sexual-harassment-at-school plot a mere afterthought.
Money Shot: Party of three: Neve Campbell strips off Denise Richards's shirt, slips her some tongue, and pours champagne all over her breasts. Suffering for his art, Matt Dillon dives in.

    Requiem for a Dream (2000)
Foreplay: More tragic than erotic. Among the many drug addicts searching for some kind of high is Jennifer Connelly, a slumming debutante who starts turning tricks in order to score heroin.
Money Shot: Connelly hits rock bottom during a sex show for some horny frat boys. Her encounter with a plastic "double dong" is inter-cut with Jared Leto getting his arm amputated. It's that kind of movie.

    The Brown Bunny (2003)
Foreplay: Even the French found it shocking. Vincent Gallo rides around on his motorcycle. Then rides some more. And some more. Just when you can't swallow any more of it...
Money Shot: Chloe Sevigny gives Gallo a lengthy blowjob and gets Bunny an X rating. He later told reporters, "Thank you for wondering if it was real or not. You must have been impressed."

    Crash (1996)
Foreplay: Don't look for Ludacris in this movie. Smarmy James Spader survives a car accident and starts getting aroused by other crash victims. Fortunately, he stumbles on a cult of rubber-necking groupies.
Money Shot: Having exhausted everything except an exhaust pipe, Spader humps Rosanna Arquette's gaping leg wound. It has something to do with "the reshaping of the human body by modern technology." Er, right.

    The Dreamers (2003)
Foreplay: While Paris burns, three impossibly good-looking students shack up together and enjoy wild sex in-between praising old movies. Typical scene: A guy jerking off over Marlene Dietrich.
Money shot: Michael Pitt is shamed into taking Eva Green's virginity in the kitchen while her brother cooks up some eggs. Things get runny, but as they say, you can't make an omelet without ...

    Vixen (1968)
Foreplay: Imagine if the slut factor of Tara Reid, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan was somehow combined into one woman. Meet Vixen -- who takes on an entire backwoods town with her 36DD ta-tas.
Money shot: Having gone through more male and female partners than a Penthouse letters page and rubbed a dead fish over herself, Vixen (Erica Gavin) hops into the shower with her brother.

In Realm of the Senses (1977)
Foreplay: Is it p*rn? Or art? Hey, can't you see I'm busy? With gobs of full-frontal nudity and realistic intercourse, this Japanese period piece about a mistress's obsession is (unbelievably) based on a true story.
Money shot: After her lover eats a hard-boiled egg warmed up in an intimate area, the mistress ecstatically slices off his bologna pony. No one says, "I'll have what she's having," in this movie.

    Multiple Maniacs (1970)
Foreplay: John Waters's trash fest is rated N for Nudity, F.S. for Freaky Sex, A.L. for Armpit Licking, and H.D. for Homicidal Dominatrixes, as the transvestite Divine uses her "cavalcade of perversions" to seduce and kill her customers.
Money Shot: With scenes involving eating vomit and sex in church, can Waters do anything else to shock? Yep. His hefty transvestite heroine gets raped by a 12-foot lobster.

A minor point on "Requiem" - they weren't fratboys, iirc, it was a bunch of old men.

Good list, though. "I have to watch this, baby, I'm researching an article." Nice job.

Most of those sound more disturbing than sexy.

Yes it was. One of the only movies I thought was phenomenal, but one I never want to see again.

Good point. Yeah, I should have clarified, my editor really wanted to go the whole "nasty" route. If I was picking 10 movies based purely on what's the steamiest, these wouldn't be it.

The Director's Cut extends the movie, because they felt that you needed to see his rotten arm more.

    Great movie though.

The way Requiem was filmed was the thing that really got me.

And it was definitely more disturbing than erotic...

It is definitely a movie I don't think I could handle again.

There is nothing erotic about Requiem for a Dream. Perhaps more than any other movie (I'm looking at you Trainspotting) it works as a perfect anti-drug message.

I own this movie and watched it with my 15 yr old nephew as part of my "why drugs are bad" campaign/lesson.

A couple of great flicks with hot scenes come to mind.

    Blowup, 1966.

Michelangelo Antonioni's mysterious and hip film, set in the swinging London of the mid-'60's, has a very hot scene with fashion photographer David Hemmings and two teenage wannabe models who, quite literally, go to any lengths to get him to photograph them. The resulting orgy was a shocker at the time, and I'm awaiting a Criterion version that restores the scene and the flick to what it was when it came out. I remember seeing it with my parents and sister in one of the grand art-deco movie houses Houston used to have. To say it was stunning is a vast understatement. The film would fall somewhere between an R and a NC-17 today. Probably the latter. A great flick!

    The Coca-Cola Kid, 1985.

Dusan Makavejev's film, made on location in Australia with the gorgeous Greta Scacchi, and Eric Roberts (who also looks as good as he ever did, and turned in a fine performance), is a comedy with a decided political bent. There are a couple of really hot scenes. One is Scacchi taking a shower with her young daughter, which is at once both lovely, innocent, and smolderingly hot, with Greta leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination. (my personal favorite) The other is difficult to describe, but involves Greta in a Santa costume, with nothing underneath, frolicking in a large bed with Roberts... feathers flying everywhere. You just have to see it!

I'll add some others when I have time, but these two are rather obscure today, and many of you may not have seen them. (Kid was obscure when it was released, LOL!) Blowup has been butchered since it's release, so if you are able to see the original version, please post it, because I've yet to find a copy.

That's been on rotation on HBO (or Showtime... can't remember right now) recently, and I've watched it a couple of times. Not in letterbox, the way films were meant to be seen, but still amazing. Brando is on another level altogether. Maria Schneider is smolderingly HOT. Wow!

Yeah, they wanted to skew younger and newer, if possible. But you're right. That belongs in the conversation.

There is a late or maybe early 90's movies rated NC-17 with the names of a guy and a girl, sort of like "Benny & Joon" (but not that) in the title... it is set in the '50s... what's that title? That's a smutty sexy one...

Henry and June. I believe it was the first NC-17 movie, but FFB could correct me on that.

I think there is some full frontal by Uma Thurman in that one.
