Am i blind or why is it that we don't run that play any more? I have seen this play few times for T-Mac and never for Wesley in the playoffs

By this I mean the play we would always run as the first few plays in the regular season: Somebody sets an off-the-ball pick for Wesley/T-Mac and they curl for a mid-range jumper around the key. It proved to be very effective and both of them hit it nearly automaticly.

Has Dallas' defense somehow prevented this or what's the deal? Or Have i been watching blind-folded?

Would some expert please explain this to me?

I haven't seen Wesley do it..my guess is that Mavs are too tall and athletic and know how to guard it so we can't do it. Or maybe we forgot about it. :p I think the first reason makes more sense.

From what I've seen T-mac tries to curl but they are switching or instead of following mcgrady they will go to the spot where he will end up when he finishes the curl. On the way though, they are grabbing and holding t-mac and impeding his progress. I thought that was illegal?

They tried to run it early in game 3 or 4 (i can't remember which) for Wesley, but he didn't shoot....passed it off to someone.

It was probably one of the first plays that was scouted by the Dallas coaches

    yeah darn fouls

But anyways yeah Tmac tries to go around for an open jumper..but they just go to that spot cuz they know that's where he wants to go..and our guards aren't the best passers ever :p
