Curiosity overcame me and I downloaded the video of the Nick Berg beheading. It's very depressing to see real footage of humanity at its lowest like that. I don't recommend seeing the video if you haven't already. It's pretty much what you would expect seeing someone's head being cut off would look like. Grizzly.
I did not watch it I just listened to the scream on the radio. And I was still sick half hour after that. Good thing I did not go watch the video thank god.
Let me ask a question: How much pain would he have been in? Would he have been consious for most of the ordeal or would he have died as soon as his throat was cut? I pray he died quickly but I don't know. PS - I'm not asking this question to disrespect him at all, just wanted to see if anyone in the medical field knows.
if you just do it like in the old days it is not as bad. He was screaming like for 20-30 seconds. They were sawing his head off, how can they be so cruel. Mark
You can find the video on Kazaa. That was one of the worst things I have ever seen in my life. Did anyone notice that the sound was out of sync with the video? The scream happened about two seconds before those f*ckers pushed him down. It almost looked fake for a second. I thought there would be more blood coming out of the head. But it was real, and just horrifically disturbing.
Has anyone seen the video of the Indian or Pakistani guy that was killed by having a pike put in his rectum? That's pretty sick. If you haven't seen it, a mob takes a man, inserts the tip of a long pike in his anus, then hoists him up. He slides down the pike until it comes out by his neck. That's pretty sickening.
The seriousness of the situation is heightened if you can associate sound and visual to the scene instead of just reading a print article about it. For me, the intensity of the situation really didnt hit me, until I saw the video. I pray for all involved.
I don't want to see the video. Somehow voluntarily seeking it out seems to me like furthering the goals of those who committed this attrocity.
I'm avoiding it. I've also been avoiding (with decent but not total success) the prison pictures. The whole thing makes me too terribly depressed. I don't read articles on it either. The only news I've got on it is what I get on NPR. I can't stand the whole subject.
I can't imagine wanting to watch this. Just reading about it...about the scrwaming as he's pushed down and realizes what's about tohappen...God, I seriously had to fight the urge to vomit, not just a phrase, but literally. Watch it? Not if you paid me.
I was flipping around the radio dial the other night. Came upon Michael Savage. He was ranting about something (as usual) and talking over something I couldn't quite hear. It turned out to be the audio from the slaying. Before I knew it I heard the scream from Berg. I quickly turned it off. Most shocking audio I've ever heard so I couldn't even imagine watching the video.
