Is anyone else TIRED of how he MUST call every superstar, past and present, "that guy?", along with a sarcastic comment on how they "may have" been good? "Michael Jordan? Yea I remember that guy. He was pretty good." "Kobe - He scored 40 points tonight, but with a little more practice, that guy might be pretty good, PERHAPS." "There's a guy in the NBA right now, his name is Lebron James. That guy's good - and he's headed to New York." WE GET IT. How has no one said anything to him yet? Carry on with your lives.
that can't possibly be your only complaint about that guy. that guy's an espn reporter and he might just be horrible, perhaps...yep, that guy is horrible all around.
"Boooyaaaah!!!" "And the lord said ya got to rise up!" "You don't have to go home, but you got to get up outta here" He's the token black guy, Steven A was the other guy but he proved to be too much of a tool to be given anymore serious camera time.
I can't stand Stuwart Scott. He tries to act so gangster and like he's best friends with all the all-stars in the league.
I agree. Ugh, the star flattery of ESPN is unbearable. Give me Chuck instead even if he's wrong more often than right.
I hate it too. I feel dumber after listening to him. A gem from last season's playoffs: "Holler at a playa when you see him in the streets." I think it was narration for some random 3 pointer.
It's not just Stuart Scott, though he is probably the worst, but the entire ESPN staff. Everyone on their payroll is annoying.
He's John McCain in disguise? Maybe he's racist for referring to these people as "that guy"!. Lets get 'em!
any of yall ever seen the "Maybe street" webisodes? The most recent one is Kenny giving a tour of the studios and when he is eating lunch with the group in the cafeteria, they see stu scott. One of the guys from the group tries to go sit with him, and he ends up getting blitzed by Terry Tate, office linebacker. (scene is around 1 minute left in the video) "stuart's the franchise, you got to protect him." hilarious. <object width="440" height="361"> <param name="movie" value="http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/player.swf?mediaId=3757514"/> <param name="wmode" value="transparent"/> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"/> <embed src="http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/player.swf?mediaId=3757514" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" allowScriptAccess="always" width="440" height="361"></embed> </object>
That was Funny Love Tate! I think the whole ESPN 'hipness' has worn off ESPN is like the 45 yr old chick in the club dress like she is 18 Rocket River
What I don't get is why anyone would ever want to buy those 'classic' ESPN shirts that they've been pimping in commercials. Whenever I have ever seen anyone wear ESPN apparel, it just makes me laugh. I didn't think I'd ever watch those webisodes, but I happened to click on it, and it wasn't bad. Besides, Kenny seems like the outcast anchor anyways, and I've always enjoyed him.
