The way Jordan has handled the firing of Gar Heard (from the Superbowl, no less), botching the hiring of Higgins (why Higgins anyway?), and related blunders, he seems to be off to a very rough start. He told his players Higgins was coming in, then found out he couldn't get him, then told the press that Walker was "another candidate" when obviously he was not, but just a stop-gap solution.

Matronix, I'm sure, is happy to see that Jordan doesn't really seem to know what he's doing. He came in talking up to the popular expectations of what he can do for the Wizard organization, but it looks like he will soon prove that he can't walk the walk in the front office. I don't wish him ill, but I can't say I'm unhappy about it either.

I can understand that MJ wants his people in there, but I thought it was lame that he never even spoke to Gar Heard once since he joined the team. At least have a listen of Gar's view of the situation. This type of behavior is so typical of mgmt. I kind of expected more from MJ, oh well.
