A corolary to Lady Di's thread. For me: all the Jello-based "salads" and desserts. Weird, weird, weird. May be just a Texas/southern thing, I dunno.
candied yams... they taste good only when they are freshly made. after about 10 minutes they taste horrible.
Stuffing. Gross. And don't tell me I haven't had the *good* stuff, I've had every kind of stuffing imaginable.
My mom makes waldorf salad every year but that's the one thing I don't like. Well that and anything that is cooked by my aunt.
Every damn year the same Mom/daughter relatives bring about 3 of these things. My bro & I started making bets a couple of years ago on a) what color will the jello be? and b) what will be suspended in the jello?
I love green beans, but I hate the obligatory green bean casserole (with the crispy onions on top)... yuk. I also hate the sweet potatoes/yams.
