For my parent's Thanksgiving dinner, we're in charge of pies, and for Tara family's Thankgiving lunch, we're in charge of mashed potatoes.

Are you hosting a Thanksgiving meal, or taking a side dish somewhere?

I'm on an exchange program in Italy right now and a bunch of (I'm the only American) decided to have Thanksgiving dinner tonight. The problem is we couldn't find turkey anywhere in Milan, so we'll probably just have chicken instead...:(. As for side dishes, I'm in charge of mashed potatoes and green beans.

I will have a Pecan Pie in the back seat on the way to my friends. War overeating and football.

I'm in charge of bringing the rolls and the cranberry sauce. Oh, and a box...er, bottle of wine.

Does anyone actually like cranberry sauce? That stuff is disgusting!

I love the jellied cranberry sauce! I like to cut up some ham and turkey, mix it up with dressing and sweet potato casserole, and throw it on a roll. Gooooood stuff. :)

We're always in charge of pies every year. My wife is pretty damn good at baking. This year we're bringing a pecan, coconut cream, pumpkin, and chocolate.

My wife makes a one from fresh cranberries that has next to no sugar in it, it's sour and fantastic. I look forward to it every year.

We are hosting a "Get away from your family after the feast" meal, snack, desert, drinking thing tonight. Everyone is going to have lunch with their families and then coming over to our place for leftovers and a party. I filled my coke machine with beer and we have enough wine to keep people happy. Should be a good evening.

I'm in charge of giving my mom directions to Golden Corral and buying us dinner. I think I can handle that. :)

(this is what happens when your immediate family is down to two people, and even then you both have to drive a long way and meet in between. We might could have hooked up with a larger group, but I didn't have time to drive that far)
