Yao, dammit...I believe in you. BIG TIME. Coming off of one of your worst games in the year, I purchased a ticket to game 7, sucked it up, and threw on your jersey going into the Lion's den. I got a lot of crap from the Mavbricks fans on the way out of the arena, but I was proud of you. You showed what a force you can be around the bucket tonight. You dunked nearly every time you had the ball around the hoop, and got a couple of "and 1" baskets. You were, in my opinion, the only good thing about our team tonight. As much as I love the rest of the guys on the team, not once this series did I see you "rolling the dice" after a 3, cursing out the refs and not getting back on defense, or doing anything other than bringing your a game. For that, I salute you.
lets kidnap Yao! and stop him from flying to china and not work on his game over here. The kidnapper can train Yao by taking the video games away and by talking **** to him all day. After the off season is over release him and you will find a different person in Yao.
Today's loss is really bad. My buddy and I just bought Yao jersey today and wear it when watching the game. He is my favorite player as well as T-Mac. It is a heart break loss. But I really bealive that next season Rockets will be a championship contender if Les and CD can find a real PF and quick guards. Go! Rockets. Mac-Ming dynasty!!!
L:OL! Sneak Dikembe in there for a few sessions. Heck, have Yao train with Dikembe all summer. That would really improve his play.
Thanks Yao, I love the fact that you started to get mad in the post season. I think you're slowly letting that monster inside of you out. I want to see you start sending messages with your fouls next season and make people afraid to take the ball into the lane for two reasons instead of just the fear of getting blocked. All in all, have a good summer in China and eat some good Chinese food.
Yao Ming gave all he could in the playoffs, you could see it in his eyes. He played like when he was in the Olympics. He may be slow (or soft) sometimes, but he is a fighter! We lost, but hey have you noticed how much better Yao has played in these 7 games than the regular season? This just tells us one thing, that Yao IS still improving. I think this 7 games have just helped Yao to reach another level. Mark my words for it, when he comes back next season, he will be playing at this level if not better, and he will finally start the domination we've been waiting for.
Thank you Yao-for being on this Rockets Team. You did your job and more all season. I'm real proud of my team and have greaat - high hopes for many years with you on this team. You have steadily grown in your game and have improved and shown any doubters and skeptics you can play the rough NBA game. Thanks man - I'm sure glad you were born and we got that lottery pick... Have a good off season and be assured you are a success. Houston Fans love and support you.
Yao & TMac, you guys are incredible and I can't imagine how great is it that have both of them on the Rockets. Sky is the limit.
Yao played like a man despite all the criticisms from media and some fans, he deserved our respect and we will have the next lethal combo in TMac & Yao.
