I don't know what's worse: the super fail in this thread (they will have their ring ceremony; it'll just be delayed), or the stupidity of the OP.

"And in a surprising turn of events, the NBA refuses to acknowledge last season's title winners. Dallas remains ringless."

YES! If only this was possible.

too lazy to look far. is there no official lockout thread?

it seems to me, based on the fact that only 60 players attended this last meeting according to espn, are most players against this lockout? is it only the stars and the potentials that are wanting this lockout.

i feel the players are always replaceable. find 300 new basketball players that will play for money. i'm sure you'll get some talent regardless of what you pay. my opinion is the players are selfish and think the nba is nothing without them. when in fact, the league gives them the coverage, their talents wouldn't show if they were overseas, this country isn't like the rest of the world with soccer. if they completely replaced the players, i feel, that in 3-4 years we wouldn't really care because new talent would come in from all levels, hs, college, overseas.

well, the NFL tried to play with replacements, but the ratings were not good. so maybe its not a good idea to play with scabs.

Exactly why i maintain the players need the NBA a lot more than the owners need this group of players.
