I would like to thank the Houston Rockets for the amazing season they just had. The season was amazing, especially the winning streak. Mike Dantoni is a great coach for this franchise. The playoffs were great. At the end of the day only having one center hurt us against the team with the best post playing big men in the league. Guys were playing out of position all game. Morey constructed this team beautifully, but he did not have the pieces to land another big man at the trade deadline. We all knew what would happen if one of them got hurt. I thought the Rockets were gonna be lucky to make the playoffs and get bounced in the first for 50th anniversary season and you guys surpassed it in every way imaginable.
I dunno if anyone really wanted another big, at the deadline. At that point, a trio of Nene/Capela/Harrell would have been enough. It's woulda/coulda/shoulda now, but the outcome of game 5 might have been different if MDA put Harrell in for spot minutes.
I do recall of the trade deadline Morey was targeting a big man and seemed a little desperate. Timothy Mosgovs name came up.
