What a great game. Both teams played hard and it seemed more like March Madness instead of Maui. As a Iowa fan, I hadn't seen that much of Texas - that team looks very good. When the games count, the Longhorns should have a great season. That's the best college game I've seen in awhile.

We get our third January bowl in a row and beat two top 15 teams in the same week. Whoo hoo! :D

Good game tonight for Iowa.. a few of their guys impressed me with their range. Couldn't let them see daylight, or else it would be automatic. I only got to see the first half, but I'm a little disappointed the Heels didn't finish strong, or have as strong as a half as they did the first. I don't know if Roy put in the scrubs or what, but Iowa scored too much for my liking. Won't be able to play D like that vs. Wake or Dook

McCants is just a machine on the court. 106 points was the most scored against a Steve Alford coached Iowa team and the most scored against Iowa in 10 years when Minn scored 107, and that game was triple overtime. The Hawks still lead the all time series with the Heels though 2-1 :p What a great 3 days of basketball. Have a good Thanksgiving and see you in March!

Yeah I don't know the history with the teams. Gonna be tough to keep that record with Roy coming back home though ;) McCants is in another world when he wants to be. A lot of times he'll slack off on defense or won't always have his head in the game. But when he's fired up, there's not too many people that can stop him. Combine his range and just natural scoring ability with a great PG in Felton, and that's nearly impossible. I think the Heels need to win it all this year, or they may have to wait a while again. This is their best chance. I see McCants and Felton for sure leaving after this year, Jawad, Jackie, and Melvin Scott are all seniors and gone. Then you have May who might leave and the diaper dandy Marvin Williams. Gonna be a tough year next, but I'll just enjoy this one while I can :)
