I no I don't post very often but after that debacle of a game I have some thoughts I would like to get off of my chest. First off, Texas is overated. Until we can run the ball efficiently we will never be anything but a good team. We rushed for less f**cking yards than Tech, this is a defense that was ranked next to last in the Big 12 in rushing defense and we rush for 92 yards, 60 less than A&M did against them. Second say what you want, that loss was not Simms fault, however that interception WAS his fault as a senior leader you do not throw that pass into double coverage when Benson is wide open in the flat. Third, Kinsgsbury deserves all the credit in the world, excellent game, but where in the hell is UT's pass rush, besides the first quarter it was non-existent. Lastly and this is the real point I wanted to make with this thread, way to go Wes Welker. I would do anything to have a gamer like that on my team. He is the type of blue collar worker this team is lacking. I feel it is true what they say that Mack Brown might be too good of a recruiter, outside of Ungar it seems we do not have any football players that work there ass off like someone like Welker. Say what you want about the injuries to UT's defense, Welker put on a clinic along with Kingsbury. Who would have thunk it Tech can now say THEY are the BEST team in Texas. Congratulations Tech!! (that is hard to say as a UT alum).
Their football program can kiss my ass right about now, but I must say, that I have the up-most respect for Bobby Night.
