Did anyone else make it out to the polls today? I drove down the street to the Randall's on Parmer @ Metric, and cast my ballot for the Democratic primary. Cast my vote for John Edwards. I've heard the issues, watched the debates, and done the appropriate research, and the SC senator was my choice. The turnout today was very small, but I expect it to pick up within the next few days. Next Tuesday is "Super Tuesday" with NY, Cali, and some other big ones. No matter what your party affiliation is, get the f*ck out and vote. Oh, and yes, I am drunk, as I spent the last few hours at the Erwin Center watching Texas beat the sh*t out of KU.
We can vote already? Outstanding! It'll make my day. I think I'll go with Edwards as well. What the hell. (I'll see how I feel in the morning... better than you! )
My kids love it when we wear those things. My wife and I are raising 2 political animals! (it's the genes... )
Dude I so used to live there... at the Scofield Farms apartments on Metric. This thread should be moved to the regular Hangout so that lots of folks can know when and where they can vote.
