I am shocked there is no thread for this game. Shows the interest in UT basketball. I think UT blows them out. Kansas is solid, but Rush will have to be huge tonight.

I'm definitely a huge fan. While OSU showed how disinterested Texas can play, this game showed how great they can be when they are on. They definitely looked like a top 5 team last night, and the fact that they got huge minutes out of Atchley and Abrams from the bench was huge. That's my biggest concern going into tourney time- foul trouble or fatigue could be a big factor. Also, Buckman was HUGE last night. It's really good to see him being aggressive, diving for loose balls, etc. I think the team fed off of that for sure.

Anyway, they definitely played over their heads last night the way they shot the ball. But, it did show that when everything comes together just right, Texas can be a final four team once again. I think starting the tourney's first two rounds in Dallas almost guarantees they'll play into the second week for sure.

It was a blowout as I expected. This texas team can be really good when they are all playing well. They will be a force in the tourney. That being said I need the crappy version to show up in college station on wednesday. This is the biggest game for the aggies in the last 10 years

Yeah, it'll be a huge game for the Aggies, and their slim at large tournament hopes. I think it'll be a hard fought game, but Texas will win by 10 or so. We'll see, and the Ags will certainly give it their best. I think Gillespie is a hell of a coach. But I think the talent disparity will take over, especially in the second half.

Should be fun to see Texas finish the regular season with the Aggies and OU....

The talent gap is ridiculous. A&m has two legitimate big 12 players. My prediciton is A&m competes, keeps it close and then loses by about 7 in the final two minutes.

    UT sucks.

They can't read. They can't spell. They don't graduate players. UT-austin smells bad.

    Rick Barnes has cooties.

KU is one year away from making huge noise on the national scene. They should sweep the Big 12 and advance at least to the FF next season assuming they return all the young stars on the squad.

Wright may leave too. His stock might be higher then Rush's.

Rush and Wright will both stay for at least one more year unless KU makes a run in the tourney and makes FF.

With Wright, Rush, Chalmers, Sasha, Giles, Robinson, and a frosh floor general Collins, KU should begin next season no worse than a top 3 team in the nation and have a really good chance at the trophy.

He has the best passing skills for a big man at KU since Danny Manning. If he stays two more years, he can be something really special. Realistic, he can be a top 8 pick next year. I cannot see Rush going higher than 13-14 next season.
