Texas is not a red state. It’s a non-voting state.

I do believe TX will eventually turn blue, or at least purple

any time turnout is high, Democrats win, often in blowout fashion…there are simply a lot more Dems or Dem-leaning people than there are republicans…it’s just a matter of engagement and turnout

You should really put some thought into your post before hitting “post reply”. It’s fascinating, yet sad, how ignorant you are to reality. Or you’re just a troll; which if that is the case, grow up loser.

Anyways, the reality is, Texas isn’t going to turn Blue in your lifetime. As more people flood Texas from blue states (because their blue state ****ed their lives up), they age and become adults. OR they became adults and got out of the **** show they found themselves in. Adults have responsibilities like bills, jobs, families, etc. As that goes on, you become more conservative and family oriented, regardless of your race, gender, whatever. This is basic human instincts.

That is, unless you’re a lazy sack of **** who doesn’t want to work for anything. You know, the ones that want the government to give them handouts and pay their bills. They typically don’t do well in the vast majority of Texas, or most states in general. They stick to living in the inner city where they are taken advantage of by the dems that run those cities.

OR they chose to live off the grid and take care of themselves. Any grown ass adult should be able to support themselves, or immediate family, off the grid for some period of time. If not, you’ve failed yourself and your loved ones.

I feel like "disheveled, angry liberal white guy with glasses" is a human phenotype now.

Texas will turn purple eventually, just like Georgia and Arizona did, but it won't be a straight line. Whenever the sun sets on Trump Texas will lurch back towards the right.

Yes I’ve stated this before many times that “safe” states whether red or blue largely remain safe states because many voters decide their votes don’t matter and disengage.

Many deep red or blue states though aren’t as solid as people think. KY has elected a Democrat for governor twice so as KS. VA and MD which has gone reliably blue in presidential elections has recently elected Republican governors. So has MA.

So much focus is given to the Presidential elections but there are many positions up for election. In TX Cruz is in a tight race with Allred and it is possible that while the Democrats might lose the Presidential vote in TX they could defeat Cruz.

Good point. Majority of Americans despise Trump and I'm sure some of that sentiment leaks into Texas as well.

That said, I still have plenty of friends in Texas who still blur the lines between their identity of being a "conservative" and being a MAGA.

It boggles my mind that so many Americans simply don't go out and vote, I just dont get it. I have a lady in my office who says she hates Biden and Trump and simply will not vote.......Biden drops out and then she says the Harris slept her way to the top and still wont vote.................People, this is your right, the choices might suck for you but do some digging and find something you like about someone. The first year I voted (Independant) was 1988 Bush vs Dukakis, talk about a stinker of a choice. I hated both these guys, but I made a pick, I held my nose and pulled the lever.

It's past time to make voting a National Holiday, for those diehards who love to go to the polls (Thats me) and expand early voting..................close EVERTHING for one day so people can go vote, expand the number of polling venues so we dont stand in line all day long. (While your at it, make the day after the Super Bowl a holiday also :D )

The fact it's not a national holiday is blatant disenfranchisement. I have no idea how this is still a thing.

It won't happen (bill will never pass) because voter suppression is part of the Republican strategy.

That's why it's ridiculous when they claim they care about Democrat primary votes. They don't care. They tried to invalidate 81 million Democrat votes on Jan 6- and are calling the insurrectionists "patriots."

They're fascists and should be treated as such.

I totally agree with you it just makes no sense to me why they don't and will have the nerve to complain when things aren't going the way they feel it should. As for the SB Goodell has said he is all for moving it to the dau before president day that way most people are off 4day weekend .

Lol. You’re a pathetic little b****, boy. I am far from a maga supporter, but that’s all you got? Why don’t you go get educated and learn to write in complete sentences? Or say something of substance? You come off as some inept, uneducated dumbass.
