I can't believe it. To go from 41-7 winners, to losing to CU because of Mr. Hollywood at QB. Mack handed Simms the job like Simms handed CU the game. In the Cotton Bowl, I sure hope Major gets to start.
I'll be shocked if Texas gets a Cotton Bowl bid. Plus I don't think the Horns want to go to Dallas again. I think it will do the team good to travel to San Diego to play a Pac-10 opponent. Major should start.
Washington already accepted a Holiday Bowl bid. So, if the Horns do go to the Holiday again, it's against UW. The Cotton Bowl would be the last thing UT would want. They would play some SEC also-ran like Ole Miss or Ark.
Cotton Bowl actually pays more, so finiancially, it would make more sense to go there. But, I can't stand the thought of UT in Dallas again. I think the Big 12 needs new bowl alignments.
