Everything I've heard is that the opponent will be either Alabama or LSU.

I think an A&M vs. Bama/LSU Cotton Bowl would be badass. As of right now, the 3 candidates for the game at Jerry World are Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas. Considering that Arkansas has played A&M there the last 2 seasons, plus the fact that they are lined up pretty well for a BCS Bowl game, I would think that it comes down to Bama or LSU. I think the Capital One Bowl actually gets their pick of the litter of non-BCS teams, and the Cotton Bowl gets second, with the Outback Bowl getting the leftovers, so it just depends on who Capital One wants to see in Orlando. Either way, I'm stoked.

    I really hope it's LSU.

That is a rivalry that needs to make a comeback.

I have not seen a scenario where Arky can go Cotton. They are either going BCS or Cap1.

Everything I've seen has been LSU/Bama, but it is about 95% LSU.

Would be a great game, especially with the History. A&M dominated LSU the last 5 games they played ('91-'95) before LSU broke the contract and didn't pay the buyout. This has resulted in A&M refusing to play the swamp kitties ever since, unless forced to like the Cotton Bowl. Should be a great matchup.

I'd love the Aggies to win (and boy do we need a freaking bowl win for once), but I think it is going to be a tough tough task. We really need it though so hopefully everyone steps up big against that tough defense.

I hope it's Bama. A drive to Dallas would be much nicer than one to Orlando. Plus it would be a lot more fun on this board leading up to the game. I doubt there are many, if any, Michigan State fans on Clutchfans.

no not yet. Capital one bowl has first priority over SEC teams(Excluding Arkansas and Auburn since they will be in BCS games) So it depends if they want Alabama or LSU. whoever doesn't get picked, goes to the Cotton Bowl because the Cotton bowl has second pick.

Now it would get crazy if Auburn lost.

I predict LSU or Bama royally ****ting on the Aggies.

Big 12 is weak this year and the SEC always puts out some monster teams.
