I just received a letter in the mail on renewing my season tickets for the Texans.

I sit in section 616 upfont seats 1 and 2. I had just moved there last year. Previously, I was in the Terrace (section 723). I really liked my seats, plus they are very affordable.

This year I noticed that my ticket price went up. From 43 to 45 (4.5%) dollars. Not bad. A buddy of mine has PSL seats in the 500 section and said his went up 6%.

Just curious why the prices went up and how much in the other sections.

    Dollar is weaker.

Now you dont have to go overseas to feel the pinch.

They went up because demand is high. There is a waiting list for season tickets. They can raise the price and still sell them easily. If you're running a business, you try to maximize profits. Even with the raise, their tickets are very reasonably priced. Texan tickets are cheaper than A&M tickets! I still can't figure that one out.
