Who's going to win? It might look obvious that the Cowboys might slaughter our Texans, but I think the Texans can try to pull off an upset. Whaddya guys think?

If our offensive line gels the Cowboys may be in for a long day. The first 2 preseason games have proven that our depth at outside LB is not nearly as thin as once thought. Mitchell and Greg White...I'll take that. :D

    GO TEXANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a Cowboy fan, so I'm obviously bias. But I think the Cowboys will win. They may not slaughter the Texans, though. I know I'm pretty PO'd, because two of our back up FB's are going to be out for a while, both of which hit very hard. Our starting FB is just coming of an injury too. I think QC has improved a lot has QB, and our new O coordinator is good too. But we will have to be really clicking to beat you bad. BTW, watch out for our D. :)

IMO, the Cowboys should win, but the Texans can pull an upset. Especially if Carr goes off, or something. May not take many points to beat us if our o is not clicking.

I'd like to see Seth Payne put Quincy Carter in the Outsider Edge. :D

Hey, we don't want to do to this thread what we did to the other one. nWo34Life didn't want wrestling. I don't think.

BTW, are the Texans ready to go?

    :)

I'm not going to say it. I won't.

uhh... Larry Allen may do well also, so be careful.

I really doubt the the Dallas Crackwagon will be nearly as good as people think they will be. This is a very winnable game for the Texans.

If Boselli and Young had been healthy, I would have said that there is at least an even shot that we can win...but now I really don't think so. Maybe 5-1 odds.

I'm surprised there are that many bandwagoners still with them. If I was one, I would have switched last year, if not sooner.

Our success all depends on Quincy. (AHH! jk.) Our D was real good last year, and has improved through the offseason. (I think it was 4th or something.) If Quincy could be an average QB and get us some points, we could do well. The only problem is those darn Eagles. They need to be bad for us to make it. May get lucky and be wild card.

The Texans look pretty good, also. There O line looked really good, but the injuries may hurt it. I bet I could be HB with a line like that...ok...maybe not. Carr is also pretty good in his fundamentals, as far as I can tell, and that rookie wr is good too. (Jabbar Gaffney, or something like that.) I don't know much about their D, though.

    The Texans starting D

    D-Line
    Seth Payne
    Gary Walker
    Jabari Issa

    Linebackers
    Kailee Wong
    Jaime Sharper
    Billy Granville
    Jeff Posey

    Secondary
    Matt Stevens
    (I can't remember the FS)
    Marcus Coleman
    Aaron Glenn

It's a pretty awesome D. Plus Keith Mitchell can come in off the bench at OLB. :D

Not good at knowing a lot of good defense players, but even I could see some good names. LB's look pretty good. Forgot you guys had Glenn too.

Though even if you didn't have big names, you could still have a good D. I don't think there were that many BIG names on the Cowboys last year, but I know them so I'm not sure. Darren Woodson and Dexter Coakley may be known, but that's about it. Basically with a bunch of nobodys we had a good D.

In other words, if the Texans get coached right, and play hard, their D could be real good, IMO. Especially if they get some more good picks and maybe some FA's.

There is one free agent without a team at this point. Maybe you've heard of him...his name is Sam Adams.

This game can be close or it can be rout. It all depends on Quincy Carter. One factor in the Texans' favor is the fact that they will be more pumped up for this one than the Cowboys. If the Texans can avoid the early jitterbugs, it could be a good one.

Dal's defense will be the best defense in the NFL this year. They were a solid unit last year, who lacked playmakers. Now, they have Roy Williams, LaRoi Glover, and Kevin Hardy. They finally have playmakers at DL, LB, and DB. Not to mention they added Bryant Westbrook, who was a promising player at one point.

I agree that the game will be a good one. Boy am I glad I already have tix. :D

I wouldn't prop up Roy Williams yet...he's a rookie. He was great in college but so was Salaam. I think Williams will be a good player...but he needs time to develop and adjust to the NFL game.

True, but I see him being the best safety in the NFL within 3 years time.

He's going to be a good one...but it is far from clear how good he will be. A lot of people thought Ki-Jana Carter would be the best RB in the NFL.

Man no one has even mentioned Emmitt Smith yet. I think if we can control him we have a shot. My prediction... Texans by 38. :D
