John McClain @McClain_on_NFL The Texans have turned down a chance to appear on the HBO show "Hard Knocks." http://twitter.com/#!/mcclain_on_nfl
That sucks...I like that show. Maybe they don't want the publicity to get to the players heads and keep them grounded.
would have been great for the team in terms of national recognition and there are some great storylines/characters to follow, but i do agree it would be somewhat of a distraction.
I wish they would have done it. Just to get a chance to see some behind the scenes stuff with the team. Although I understand why they said no.
Even though Texans seem to be a franchise that does the right thing, in the wake of Bountygate I don't see many teams letting anyone in to film something that might be misconceived as fineable activities. It's a shame; would have been great to see the Texans on Hard Knocks.
It would of been good, the Texans have some entertaining characters. Cushing, Smith, Foster, Cody, and Barwin are far more watchable than say Mark Sanchez.
It's what I wanted but, this team has a very good chance to go to the Superbowl. Arian Foster has a very good chance to become a legend this year. Our Defense has a very good chance to be no. 1 in the league .... With all the national games, that is publicity enough. I'm okay with it
boring coach with no personality. shocked that they even asked. must be desperate and scraping the bottom of the barrel.
