Texans to hire Bobby Slowik as OC

I was hoping Slowik left this summer and we could replace him for a better OC. Too bad it didn't happen.

 

That's interesting because whenever I watch the Texans I see CJ going off script and improvising to find Nico Collins. That's pretty much our only reliable offense for big plays. I don't see guys getting schemed open or many easy throws at all.

Check the amount of easy throws Darnold has where everything is on script and compare to CJ. Slowik is not good.

 

Slowik is extremely overrated.

Its been a year now. Figure out first down. If running doesn't work, try something different.

 

Sounds like the same thing Deshaun had to do when he was here.

 

Last year there were plenty of receivers that were schemed open. This year defenses have figured Slowik out and he has no answers.

 

So Bobby is two spots below Andy Reid? I’ll take it!!!

 

Sounds like a guy who believed too much on his own hype, like us fans believing in this team's hype.

 

He just doesn't seem to be making the best out of talent he has available. If the running plays are not working stop repeating them. Try a new scheme. The OL talent issue is another problem to solve.

 

The amount of times CJ has to convert on 3rd and long is kinda ridiculous really.

 

What's crazy is he has to do it so much that I assume it's going to be an automatic first down haha.

 

CJ deserves a better OC.

Baby Kubes has looked pedestrian against mid and good D’s. Eagles and Chiefs to be exact.
