Texans Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10AM.
Id like to get the home opener, and one of their 2 game packages.
My question is, what is the best way to get the tickets.
    Phone or Internet???
Im pretty sure I cant take off work to stand in line, and I assume that they are prevy to the same tickets that I would access online or via phone.
I am looking for the cheap seats ($35) and Im sure theyll go fast.

    Any advice?

    Thanks!

Good luck beating the scalpers because you will not be able to.

You should invest in season tickets. You're always gauranteed the same seats. You can request an upgrade each year. You can sell half the tickets to recoup the cost and get in the other half for free.

    Good luck.

You're right about that. I have season tickets in the bull pen, and recouped half the costs just by selling my tickets to two games last year.

    Mission Accomplished.
Found a friend with season tickets who was able to hook me up with a pre-sale for single game tickets.

How much can you actually sell game tickets for?

I want to get a better idea as I am thinking about season tickets.

2-4 times the face value on ebay. Maybe more. I made some good money with some of my rockets season tix last year on ebay.

So you want to beat the scaplers so you can scalp the tickets yourself?

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I don't think his request was based in the morality of scalping; he just wanted to get a fair price on tickets.

How true is this?!? We are thinking about buying a group of tickets for the office. Where do you sell them. I saw EBay. Can you also get better prices by selling them to ticket brokers?

(BTW guys, scalping is legal in Texas. They're called ticket brokers.)

I was just noting the irony of the post.

Also, do you have to sell "the good games" to recoup your money, or do all the seats tend to sell at twice the face?

It really helps if it is a good game. Looking at ebay, the Steeler game looks like the hottest ticket of the season. Obviously, the Arizona game is not going to sell as high as the Rams. I have rarely seen a ticket go for under face value, even if it is a dog game. Many people still haven't seen the stadium yet. But for the maximum profit, I would think the Steeler game would be it.
