If Reeves continues to struggle and Molden isn't ready, he could be our #2 corner for a while. I think Tampa cut him to cut costs more than anything. Not sure what happened in New England.
Oops you're right. The Texans should never sign another free agent again! I mean since one didn't work out none of them will, right?
has anyone ever left the Patriots in the last 5 seasons and gone on to be great/solid? ty law? maybe. if the patriots are done with you, I concur with wagner. you're washed up.
Making the team and playing for the Bucs defense has to be harder than making the team and playing for the Texans defense. I say give the guy a shot. The more the merrier considering the lack of depth in the Texans secondary.
The problem with Colvin is that he's a one-trick pony at this point in his career. All he is is a pass-rush specialist, which is exactly what the Texans brought him in for. Unfortunately, they couldn't afford to give up a roster spot to someone who couldn't play special teams or contribute elsewhere. I think they knew that when the signed him, and were hoping they'd have room for him, but a lot of fans thought he was going to come in and be an every down player like he was 3 or 4 years ago. I guess in that aspect he is "washed up", but I only thought of him as a potential role player on the defense.
