Michael Bush just declared so we should pick him up in the 2nd or 3rd round if he's available. He's a hulking running back who should do well in Kubiak's system. By drafting Bush it should shut some people up who wanted the Texans to draft Bush last year. I vote Bush.

    Bush declares

The Texans should draft Young. Selvin Young is a senior and should be available in the 5th or maybe 6th round. He's a Kubiak-type one-cut running back. By drafting Young, maybe they will shut up the people who wanted the Texans to draft Young last year.

How freaking hysterical would it be if the Texans won a SB in 2009 with Bush, Young, and Williams on the roster?

Young and Bush in the backfield as the Texans go for the win in Super Bowl 43.

Of Course this was all set up by Williams' fumble recovory

    Michael Bush is a stud.

If he is there in the 2nd we have to take him.

He might even go higher than Lynch, though..

Why would they draft Bush? IF Va-Tech LB Hall comes out early, they should definitely draft Vince.

If we dont take a RB in the 1st round I dont see Kubes taking one until DAY 2. He thinks he can turn anyone into a 1000yd rusher. I am tired of being Denver's sh$#ty brother...

Smith (GM) said on the radio the other day that this is a myth. He said they would absolutely take a RB in the first round if one falls to them. Take that for what it's worth.

    Best player available.

There are just too many needs on this team still. CB, Saftey, Linebacker, Defensive line, Offensive tackle, Running back!!!!

But they still took a RB in the 2nd round. They also traded him for the best CB in football.

Like Ziggy posted, if the Texans don't go with a RB in the 1st, I don't think you'll see them go with one in the 2nd. We just have way too many holes to fill on this team.

I don't think he'll go higher than Lynch, especially after the combine. Bush, even if healthy, will still be very rusty. After the seasons Maroney, R. Bush, and Jone-Drew had, I think Lynch will be a pretty high pick.

Potentially I agree if we still only have 7 draft picks. Best case scenario for us is to try to parlay into 10 or 12 somehow. That being said Michael Bush looks really good as a prospect, eventhough he was out most of last season, he still has some pretty phat numbers. That injury eventhough healed may drop him to where it is feasible to get him in 2nd or 3rd. This option should work for us if only we cant land Michael Turner from SD via FA. Selvin Young ... hmmm could be a sleeper of sort. Potentially hopefully Kuby could make more out of his game than Lundy has shown thus far.
