Yeah our first month we face Peyton, Rodgers and Brady. That's about as bad a QB gauntlet there is. Hopefully Luck will take a couple years before he claims his presumed spot at the top. This schedule could be fake -- it'd be a pretty boring/unimpressive prank, but it is the internet after all... After looking through the MNF schedule, it looks like a good chunk of them are duds, which would be consistent with ESPN's selections last year! As for us, I see one SNF, one MNF and the rumored Thanksgiving game. I would've liked a couple more, but I can live with this. Besides, it seems like we usually crap the bed for national games, so I don't want to tempt fate too much.
It might be a long season but we have a really smart front office now instead of the Beverly Hillbillies putting in hills and trains. They will get this thing turned around i'm super serious.
Isn't that the way it should be? 32 teams, 34 MNF/SNF games (ignoring any doubleheaders they may decide on).
No, it should be prime time for 50% of our schedule because I hate noon games, especially after a Saturday night out. Follow my rules.
Not if your team sucks. The Bears host a Thursday nighter, go to Dallas on MNF, host the Colts on Sunday night, and host the Lions on MNF. 4 primetime games, including 3 hosting, for a team that didn't even make the playoffs.
If the posted schedule is true, we also have the nationally televised Thanksgiving game (@ DET) as well as what looks like "national" broadcasts against the Packers (FOX) and Patriots (CBS). So "national" games would be: Denver (NBC), Green Bay (FOX), @New England (CBS), Baltimore (ESPN), and @Detroit (CBS). Not to mention possible "flex" matchups at the end of the year with the Jets and Titans. Hope the guys don't spit the bit in their national close-ups!
That Monday Night game vs. the Ravens should be fun. Baltimore's got some pay back time coming to them.
